GRS67
A comfortable win tonight, we never really seemed to get out of first gear, but we done enough and were rarely in any trouble. An early goal by ex Colney Heath player Stuart Blackburne, an unmarked header, but we failed to build on the early lead. Second half we doubled our lead inside the first minute of the half, another unmarked header, this time from Richard Morton. Richard Morton added his second and our third late on with a good finnish. Our keeper Rob Blackburne had no reall saves to make, and we again looked a lot more fitter and sharper. One of these days someone is going to get a real hiding when we move up a gear. GRS67
Bob, what did you think of our result last night? Broxboroblue, I have not been to silver jubilee since we played there on boxing day last season. I have heard various stories, some saying the place has gone downhill even more, and some saying money has been spent and the ground and the pitch have improved, it will be good to hear from you after you have played them to find out, what's what. AWK
Cheers Gavin, each picture is actually three or four photos merged into one and they come out better than I hoped. Im going to try and do something similar with all the grounds in the SSML, so if you see some sad git taking pitures of your stands come and say hi! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Rhodes
AWK - Meant to say that I liked the pics you posted on here the other day, you're a bit of an anorak on the quiet aren't you, do you post on the another Forum too by any chance.
AWK
I haven't posted on another's forum Rhodes, though it is fair to say I'm an anorak! Even the Luton Town official historian points out mistakes he has made to me before I read his books as he thinks I would notice them straight away!! Im considering whether to go to the 61's match with Kent on monday (even though its an away match it will be played at home) or to go to another non league match for photo opportunities.
