Horace
Gavin - loss of confidence in the boys after Sat! Hopefully a bit of reverse psychology. As for Edgware, surley Stuart Blackburne will get at least 4 againt his old side?

Paula - Do you want me to give you some tips, over that game of scrabble, I see we're all putting a win for Edgware so as not to upset Gavin. Sharming Paula
Yes please my luv. I know very little about this league. I think i've upset the old boy (Gavin) enough tonight so thought i'd better put that down as a win

I'm backing Edgware because I use to play for them and I fancy them to win! Nothing what-so-ever to do with Gavin. Would like to get down to a game some time soon. Rhodes
Rak - Did you ever find out whether Nick Boid is there, their win yesterday over Biggleswade United seemed pretty convincing according to Gavin. Did you read the Bowers and Pitsea v Haringey Borough report, John Bacon must have been rubbing his hands at the thought of a lucrative Coles Park replay with a minute to play. RH1
Nick Boid was at Edgware last month of last season. From when I spoke to him he seemed pretty keen on staying, however haven't spoken to him since about 2 weeks into pre-season. I will contact him maybe this week. I think Edgware should do well, however anyone can beat anyone in the SSM League. As you can see from my prediction table Edgware are my favourites for the title, but I wouldn't be suprised if they ended up mid table. I'm not convinced they are good enough to finish top 3 or 4 without luck (i.e. injuries, suspensions, form, referee decisions) over the season. 6 or 7 other teams are probably in the same situation. GRS67
Are Oxhey that good? I have read they are a forward thinking club with a nice new ground. I would be supprised if Hertford were to lose their first game of the season, specially at home.
