Just read the NLP and, I know, I know, you shouldn't get wound up by these things but was I watching a different game...perhaps I was at Melbourne Park and I failed to tell myself...

Any way, due to the rain and the lack of chances (from both sides, I hasten to add) and frustation with the linesman (first game at this level - should be his last), the ref (Portugese - been living in this country for a year!!! First Ryman game - should be his last!!!), here are the best of the photo's from the game...

And last but certainly not least, Mr. Tony Longhurst enjoys the sun...

Entertaining first game i thought. First half i think we shaded, but they came back into it directly after the break, but i think the turning point of the game was the double substitution, which gave us just that bit more creativity when on the day we were just getting frustrated with not being able to break wood down. Shame Flack could not have finished at the end as that would have been the icing on the cake. Excellent turn out from the fans.

A rather frustrating afternoon all in all. Thought we were the better side in the first half without seriously threatening the goal on many occasions. We fell asleep in the first part of the second half and deserved to go behind. As has already been said the double subs gived us an extra impetus and it paid off.

Keeper made a very good save from the penalty but Hodgy did well to follow it in. After that we looked fired up and i thought we might nick it, but a draw was a fair call i think.

Roll on tomorrow might

I thought their keeper was quite a way off his line when he saved it...
