FA Cup Results

Recommended Posts

I did it purposely, as you know I don't believe in starting new threads for the sake of it, Gavin style.

PBt..rhodes doesn't like starting new threads. unusual for a government servant to be that frugal.

That's why I always put the date on the title of results threads and prediction league threads, so they can't be re-used.

Rhodes try to imagine a casual observer, who isn't registered, coming on here today. They would look at a thread entitled "FA Cup Results", and think they were going to find out the results from this weekend. What do they find instead? Results from the EP round from 4 months ago!

but rhodes doesn't want to wipe peoples' noses for them so he thinks they SHOULD have to read thru such things (most of which is probably his drivel) or him repeating stuff from other sites to try and inflate his already significant self ego in rhodesworld.

Well good point and I will know for next time however the topic has already died a death so we would have simply been left with a 'dead' thread after just a handful of posts like many on here that were originated with every good intention.

But does that really matter? The majority of threads do have a natural life span, and to keep bringing them back after their time has gone is not necessary. It also shifts the more topical threads off the front page.
