Just to start the ball rolling on this one , hat-trick man Mr Trenkel at Burnham, in his club record victory of 11-0 nearly had his club committee forking out for new goalposts such were the ferocity of his shots - particularly the ones that didn't go in !!

On a serious note Mr Chairman. An arm needs to thrown around Beaumont as it's in no-ones interest, least of all theirs, for them to fold due to poor results and demoralised players/members.

 

That said, I have been informed, reliably, that when they came into the Bowers' Chairman's room for the opening game, certain BA committee members were dismissive of the ESL. When asked how they thought they would cope with the step up, they said "No problem". They had watched a few ESL games and didn't see anything that should scare them......Doh!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/doah.gif" alt="" />
