Captain

Can someone tell me why Paul Mccarthy has been awarded the captains armband?

 

I noticed in pre season Danny Slatter was captain

 

which i thought was a good choice as he played last season in nearly all the games

 

Why give it to Paul who we all know will not play

as many games to say the least!

 

I thought either Danny or Ross Smith should have been given this as it is now a very young side and

i am sure either one would have suited better and done a very good job

 

Anyway good luck to Paul lets hope he plays in most games otherwise we will not have a settled skipper which the side needs

Liam has made Paul Skipper because of his experience im guessing and he is rather vocal during the game!

It'll be interesting to see, when we finally get the opportunity to play four at the back with all three central defenders available, whether McCarthy will retain his place in the side.

McCarthy didnt even start in the first game, i think maybe debolla should be captian, he is the player i saw most motivating the other players during the york game.
