I'm not really into pre season friendlies so I've not been to Park Lane since last season, but I've followed with interest as the summer has unfolded.

The last twelve years have been fun but they are now in the past and I must admit that I have never seen so many people pull in the same direction as the people who now control and support the Gulls. If the enthusiasm that shines through in the relative postings that I am reading is translated onto the pitch then the season will be a guaranteed success before we kick a ball in anger.

Long may it continue- the information that is being fed to us on the website and the great support that we now seem to have.

If you'll pardon the pun "The king is dead-long live the king".

Let's go onward and upward to more glory.

Best of luck to everybody concerned with CIFC.

I'll be there for game one of a new era on Saturday.
