Team for tomorrow

I guess someone had to be sad enough to start the inevitable thread so may aswell be moi.

 

I guess, the lack of a prior thread on same subject, is because the team almost picks itself,(no doubt RT will now pick a team bearing little resemblance to whatmost think it will be) which is the one weakness we may have at present.

 

I imagine the line-up will be:

 

SCS

 

Oates Trott, Donovan,Skinner

 

Abbott, Protheroe,McKimm, JJ.

 

Pnnock, Hockton.

 

subs almost pick themselves aswell:

 

Mitten, Standen, Wisker, Robinson,Wildes.

 

maybe Smith,Williams and Hoggart the three a bit unlucky to miss out on a bench place .

Not a lot of difference MM. Just a few tweeks.

Like you say (injuries permitting) the "core" are expected I would have thought.

'My team' was as i thought RT would pick as opposed to 'my choice'.

Thought he would pick Donovan ahead of Wilds as RT has only played alongside JD in a match.

 

Not seen Wildes anyway, so i can't really comment about him

On his one showing he was pretty solid & hopefully he wont be caught out so much as Donovan does. But who knows he could come out & have a stinker second time out.Lets hope not.I'd have no problems with Donovan should he concentrate more & not get himself caught out with the ball over the top.He lacks the pace to get back quickly enough.Get that part of his play right & his inclusion for me wouldnt be a problem.

As for Trottys team you will be probably correct in your assumptions Michael both with the players & their positions.
