Matt Seedel to windsor

Guest

Recommended Posts

Matt seedle has been loaned to windsor for a month from hampton to get fit.

Hampton have so many strikers that they can loan them out to the likes of windsor

How many recognised strikers do we have at Slough?

Has Eddie bought in the right players and in the right areas - Saturday will be the first real test of his plan.

I was always a big fan of Seedel when he was with us because I'd seen what he was capable of in the reserves, almost single handedly destroying teams, but he didn't recapture that form for the first team, mainly due to some off field problems.

If he's right in the head and is focused on the match, he could play at a much higher level IMO and I would have him back without a doubt.

I wasn't a fan of Seedel's. IMO he was a one trick pony and was missing the basic qualities of being a good player.

He was 6ft plus but couldn't jump and couldn't head the ball, mind you he used to close his eyes so probably couldn't see the ball!

He was also easily brushed off the ball and when someone remarked that he was in the Royal Marines, a retort came back 'was he in the catering corps'.

There were too many off-days with Seedel. He did look awesome in about two games, and that hat-trick at Worthing will be the thing he's most remembered for.

As others have said, if his mind is right and he has the right strike partner, I reckon he could do fairly well at Ryman Premier level.

Consistency was Seed's big problem. I think he burnt his bridges with Eddie anyway. Personally think he could have done a job for us without Hodgey's shadow looming large.
