Must say i think it looks just as it did at the end of last year, sorry to be negative but look at the goal mouth and corner.

The pitch is 100% better than last season. The ground is a little patchy is places and it's no Madejski, but considering the lack of rain and the subsequent delay in pitch progress and the installation of the sprinkler system the team at Windsor have done an amazing job!

Having seen some of the pitches around the area I think we definitely made the correct choice to stay at Stag Meadow.

I tell you what, if you have a problem with the pitch then why don't you go down to the club and talk to the groundsman rather than making stupid comments from behind a keyboard!!

Dom, thanks for that comment, praise is always better than criticism.

Why don't you calm down for a second and take your obvious frustration out on the Missus or the cat.

I think any normal rational person with a sense of humour would have gathered that my comment was done tongue in cheek and not meant to upset anyone from Windsor.

If it did touch a nerve then I appologise.

Only pitch i've seen in a better state was Met Police. SOME Slough fans really should think before they type. ( Yeah i know! Do as a say not as i do <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> )

Whilst the main part of the pitch did indeed look superb, and people were working on it at the time of the picture, there was a huge gash in the middle of the pitch which didn't look too healthy, but it's looking in a lot better condition that at this time last season.

Reading Rebel, the problem is there have been too many people ready to make stupid and quite insulting remarks about the pitch without bothering to find out the facts.

Matin has always said that he is willing to talk to people about the pitch if only they ask him.

Cedric, its not about people not being able to say anything its about making comments before thinking and knowing the facts.

You made a comment about it being the same now as it was at the end of the season, well that is the ultimate in stupid comments.

If that was the case then there would be no grass through the middle of the pitch and absoulutely no grass in the boxes or corners.

Yes the grass is a bit sparse in the goalmouths but there is grass there and it is still growing as it is in the corners.

The middle of the pitch had come on very well and has a very thick covering of grass.

The only major bald areas are the two trench lines in the centre of the pitch that are slowly coming back.

All I am saying is have your say but PLEASE try and find out what is going on first.
