He will cover whilst Bill sits out his supension at the Folkstone Game. It was felt that at this stage in the season, and for this particular game, it would be a step to far for the younger goalkeepers

 

Also Bill will have to undergo a fitness test for Saturdays game V Boring wood, as things stand we're expecting Bill to start.

Can't see how. He sustained a injury before he came to us which put, in his mind, his long term future in question. That he changed his mind for the time he was with us speaks volumes for the club in the way he was treated (the same arguement applies when you consider the commitment and loyalty the majority of the players showed when our previous manager left last season).

To think that Mel is willing to make himself available whilst our 1st team keeper is suspended / injured, says a lot about the player and his relationship with Billericay Town.
