Top 5 Live Bands I Saw In 1995

1995 was my peak year when it came to going to gigs (I've recently been trying to compile a list of all the gigs I've been to)

 

Here are the Top 5 bands I saw seven years ago...

Other bands seen in 1995 include Boo Radleys, Stone Roses, Manics, Northern Uproar, Heavy Stereo, Teenage Fanclub, Green Day, Menswear etc. etc.

Best gig I ever went to was in 95, Sheffield Arena to watch Oasis and some then little known support called the Verve. Well it turned out that the Verve wern't there at all. The lights went out, In a voice local to Sheffield shouted out "Good Evening, we are not the Verve, WE ARE PULP!" Lights went on, all went crazy and had a top night of HIS & HERS with a touch of new material from different class followed by a nice big helping of Oasis in their prime.

I did once work out how many bands I'd seen ,there were hundreads. Can't work out the best gigs so here's the Top 5 bands I've seen the most times.

 

5. Chas'n'bloody Dave - 6 times (complete with me as well)

My Brother-in-law leant me Sea Monsters, which sounded pretty good, but I hear the one to go for is 'The George Best album' is that right??

Yes the George Best album is fantastic - a true classic.

2 great albums but I personally prefer Wotusi although admitedly a couple of the tracks on Seamonsters are in my opinion their finest work. All went a bit tits up for them after they sort of became the Ukrainians and lost the plot.....still, such is life.
