Gary McCann, manager of Ryman League Premier Division club Hendon, has announced the squad that will start the season.

As expected there have been plenty of changes from the squad that ended last season, with Takumi Ake, James Burgess, Danny Edwards, Adilson Lopes, Lee O'Leary, James Parker, René Street, Jamie Busby, Ross Pickett and Jimmy Froud beng the only first-team players left. Also still with the club are under-18/reserve teamers Ricky Pattenden, Francois Gabbidon and Franklyn Morris.

As previously reported goalkeeper Richard Wilmot has returned to the club from Hitchin Town, whilst fellow stopper Anthony O'Connor has joined having previously played in the Irish League.

Three new defenders have signed in Craig Vargas from Brook House, Ryan Wharton from Hillingdon Borough and Hussain Karas, who has previously been with Brentford.

New faces in midfield are Dwane Williams from Harefield United, Greg Deacon, who has previously been with Stevenage Borough and St Albans City, and Josh Hunte and Rakki Hudson.

Wing back Wayne O'Sullivan (pictured) was previously with Newport County, striker Dean Thomas was another from Harefield United as is forward Nas Richardson, whilst front man Leon Maloney has recently been in local football.
