Please help me! Horace - I have already told Alfie to take Potters Bar Town's comments with a pinch of salt, he gets off on throwing a grenade or two in and then watching people get hot under the collar as is the case with you creating this thread, he's harmless at the end of the day but it is no doubt frustrating. Rhodes
Folks - Potters Bar Town has been conspicuous by his absence lately, I'm waiting to submit my report to him on the hallowed Hertingfordbury Park turf from last night which was Wembley like, there were no problems whatsoever. NeutralFan
Wembley like.. you might want to get your lenses checked out on those glasses of yours! But it's definately not as bad as made out above though!
Football Man
No need to wait Rhodes. I'm around. Spoke to another referee last night who was at Hertford on Saturday and he confirmed the Hertford pitch wasn't as bad as another referee had made out to me earlier. Very bumpy with a lot of weeds on it I have now been told. Doesn't sound like anything that a roller and a grasscutter couldn't fix. Rhodes, I'll treat your "Wembley-like" comment in the same manner as "Kentish Town are the Man Utd of SSML Div 1" and "Playing in the style of Brazil 1970", i.e. a touch exaggerated. Rhodes
NeutralFan - Er I don't wear glasses. Potters Bar Town - A slight exaggeration perhaps but I was very impressed, it was as flat as a pancake and in good condition albeit in need of a good watering. There are weeds and a few dandelions etc but I'm sure one of their many Committee members and supporters will gladly go around on bended knee sometime soon pulling them out. By the way can you throw any light on this mystery man BewareofRodents, he's becomming a real pain in the rear end.

Rhodes
Potters Bar Town - Mmm not even a clue or a wild guess, you must be enjoying his ridiculous ramblings from afar.
Football Man
You know my views on people being abusive on here. Banter is fine, abuse is not. Mind you, don't think Ian W will be much help. I tried to get someone banned for being abusive about six months ago. Sent two PMs and an e-mail to his personal address. Nothing happened! Rhodes
Potters Bar Town - That's surprising as I would have thought it in Ian's best interests to get rid of nutters such as BewareofRhodents, I must confess the name is growing on me! I suppose though if Ian is coining it in from the Fans Focus site, and I'm not saying he is, then it would also be in his best interests not to bar the nutter as there is no doubt he has created a lot of interest in just one day since our friendly at Hertford Town on Tuesday. This surely also says a lot about Kentish Town and, in turn, what an interest and huge expectation there is in us for the forthcoming season, if there wasn't people would surely vote with their feet and the Kentish Town related threads on the Forum wouldn't be touched. Horace
Why would anyone be abusive to you, PBT?
Football Man
It was one of those comemnts that came out of nowhere. It was someone that I knew to look at, and vice-versa, but didn't really know that well personally. They did eventually apologise face-to-face and that was that. I suppose some people just get carried away on here, others just turn to abuse when they don't have logical argument.
Rhodes
Potters Bar Town - Well at least I can't be blamed which makes a change, I'm pretty diplomatic as you know although you do have a nack of ruffling a few feathers on here if you don't mind me saying so even if your intentions are honourable. I see Aki 'Sugar' Achillea aka BewareofRhodents is conspicuous by his absence today, hopefully he has laid down and died although that will no doubt be famous last words.
