Any tips for parking?

Hi any good places to park? any places that you get stuck for ages after the game?

Station car parking's not quite good, always spaces there for cheap and don't clog up very much. Failing that, residential roads around the Park are your best bet I'd've thought...

Yes there's plenty of parking in the streets off Clarence Road though you may have a short walk as there will still be many commuter cars parked near the ground before kick off. Don't park on any yellow lines though; wardens never go home in St Albans.

And avoid the first part of Clarence Road off Hatfield Road. It is a parking zone area. Once past the park gates it's OK.

If you're coming from Cambridge it's almost worth coming off the A1(M) at Tesco's in Hatfield (Junction 4?) and taking the A6129 to Harpenden through Wheathampstead then parking at Harpenden station and getting a 5 minute train ride to St Albans. Avoids the hassle of Hatfield Rd and where to park.

If you park near the ground but on the wrong side of the railway line, there is a footbridge between Lemsford Road and York Road. It comes out just by the alley leading to the clubhouse.
