Gavin - There was already a thread for this, you might want to delete this one or 'the fame' will start going to my head. No the only PM I've had from you is the one with the draft programme article which I said looked fine, I'm still waiting for your address so I can post the Harrow Council Cabinet Minutes and a Haringey Borough programme from last season to show you how I did the colour photographs.

Oh, I guess it never got to you, I will repost the pm again. I am going to be bringing you the programme from our game with Biggleswade utd on Sat and also the programme from our game at Colney Heath next Tuesday.

Just bring the stuff with you and we can exchange when we meet ok.

He dont need to know the way to Canvey - I pick him up. As for Kentish Town he's meeting me at the station lol. He's a gentleman (well most of the time) <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

A lot of childish banter on this thread today, sorry I couldn't join in but I've been busy at work. There is a Kentish Town tube station on the Northern Line (High Barnet branch) but if you went there trying to find a football ground you would have your work cut out. Brent Cross tube station, also on the Northern Line (Edgware branch) is the closest to Hendon's ground and within easy walking distance, as Gavin helpfully points out Cricklewood station, on British Rail, is also fairly close but the buses from there are few and far between.

Paula - You could never be in the way love. How was the game tonight, were there any known Spurs players on show and what was the crowd like, didn't you hang around for a drink afterwards or were you driving.

I was driving. Left about 10 mins before the end and we were 8-0 down!! End result 11-0!!

Still an enjoyable evening.

As i've posted on the HX site what can people expect.

We are a young side whom are still finding their feet after being our reserve team last season.

We were up against a mixture of a reserve and youth team from a premiership club whom have excellent training and coaching facilities. They are also full time players!

We battled hard and the team should not feel disheartened by the result.

I am still proud to say I am A canvey Island fan and I will follow them through thick and thin!!

Roll on Saturday - let the true battle begin!
