I rang them and spoke with the news editor last friday, he seemed very interested in running the story about our replayed game and took both my home and mobile number. I am still however waiting for them to get back to me. Do you think I should call them back, or just not bother?

Thats very true, he did say they may not have room in the news section. Most of the paper is given to match reports.

Coupwotcoup - I also e-mailed an article a week or so ago about Kentish Town and the innovative Community work we're involved in, would you mind asking the Editor whether it was received and whether they intend to run with it. Unfortunately now the Friday edition has stopped there is not so much scope for general articles on Club's which the Friday one was often used for.

There is a struggle space-wise on a Sunday to include everything. Unfortunately cannot please everyone. Lots of match reports, plus now midweek round-ups. Shame to lose the Friday edition, but there is talk that it may come back as a joint venture with the League Paper.

Me too Horace, as they do have some less then 'big' stories make the news pages. Hopefully they will have it in this weekends paper. I did ask for them to email me and let me know if they are going to print it, so I could tell our club members to get a copy.

This is a big story and will be on the case soonest. Mind you I personally think it is an outrageous decision to have the game replayed.

The precedent has now been set....just wait until Jose, Arsene and the Jock twat get a load of this....sad day for football..Sorry just my opinion.

Coup - I think it's unanimous on here that it was a cr*p decision - apart from Gavin for obvious reasons . Still got a sneaking feeling that the FA might wriggle out of it given the chance!
