Rhodes can't you use links when they are provided. I beleive PBT drew 0-0 at Maldon as accessing the FA website is obviously beyond you. I could always cut and paste the results if you wish

Lato - Time often prevents me surfing the net with the phone ringing non stop, trying to do Club paperwork and getting some food down me, it would have been helpful if someone had posted all the FA Cup results on the FA Cup thread as a matter of course. If someone has just posted a link then I haven't seen it yet, Maldon holding Potters Bar was somewhat of an old fashioned shock.

Aren't Maldon in the same division as Potters Bar?

Disappointingly it wasn't Phil Rolt who did the midweek SSML report for Non League this week, I therefore had to make a grab for the matchsticks half way through but for those who don't purchase it on Friday here it is:

The midweek action centered around the Challenge Trophy where there were two giant killing feats and the demise of the Premier Division leaders. In the tie of the round, the all Premier Division clash at Edgware Town saw the visitors, unbeaten leaders Harefield United, go down 2-1. However for long periods it looked like Harefield would progress as they lead through a Gary Williams goal before the tie was turned on its head in a dramatic last five minutes. First Richard Morton rifled home a 84th minute equaliser before Adam Wallace fired home the winner for Edgware just four minutes from time. In the giant killing feat of the week, mid table division 1 side Amersham Town triumphed 3-1 at Premier division high fliers London Colney. The vistors broke the deadlock through Dennis Ongei but were pegged back before the break thanks to Kenny Hull's equaliser. The second half was end to end but neither side could force the issue until extra time when Amersham struck in either period through Derek Dickson and Aoni Pinto to secure a famous victory. Another Premier division side to be humbled at home by lower division opposition were Broxboure Borough beaten 3-2 by Stony Stratford Town. Stony Stratford struck twice late on to force extra time and Ben Hill nabbed the 108th minute winner.

Manic - Seriously or is that a wind up, perhaps I'm in the wrong job then.

Thankfully Phil Rolt was back in the chair on Sunday to do his excellent summary of the weekend's action:

'The top three Premier Division teams were absent from league action on FA Vase duty giving the chasing pack the opportunity to close the gap at the top of the table. Hertford Town duly responded moving into second place, two points behind leaders Harefield Town. For the second successive week a Hertford player scored five goals as Royston Town were annihilated to the tune of 7-1. This week's five goal hero was Ryan Redford, Lee Roberts and Scott Nielson chipped in with a goal apiece as the home side ran riot. Royston's last minute consolation goal was scored by Jeremy McMorough. London Colney missed an opportunity to move into third place when they were held to a goaless draw at Haringey Borough who slipped to the bottom of the table as a result. Previous encuments Biggleswade Town won for the first time in the league this season 3-1 at Langford. Town were two goals ahead at half time through Ryan Jenner and Cameron Clark, Biggleswade's third goal did not arrive until five minutes from full time when Clark his his second of the afternoon. Langford finally got on the scoresheet in the final minute through Robert Groves. John Perry and Steve Johnson scored a goal apiece in the final ten minutes as Tring Athletic defeated St Margaretsbury 2-0. Colney Heath completed their third league victory of the season with a 2-1 win at Holmer Green. Welwyn Garden City were indebted to Peter Okechukou for a point salvaging equaliser at home to Kingsbury London Tigers. Harry Pinto gave Tigers the lead, a goal that Alex Kingsley soon equalised. The visitors were back in front by half time with a Terry Coriba goal, that looked to have settled proceedings until City's last gasp equalier.

Keep up the good work Phil.

The NLP is ok, but sometimes I dont know why I bother to buy it. I dont really read the conference reports, and am more intrested in the lower leagues. There was not even a mention of our fa vase win, AND, they got the result of Safforn walden who we play next wrong, they had it down as a draw!

According to the another Forum the Friday edition of Non League is sadly no more, and we were supposed to have an article in it tomorrow which I hope will now be printed on Sunday:

'I have it on good authority that the Friday Non-League Paper has been discontinued with immediate effect. The Sunday paper will continue unaffected'.

I do buy the paper and have brought the Friday edition sometimes. I dont read that much of it though, as its too concentrated around the teams in the conference leagues.

Someone should make a step 5 and below paper/magazine. Is there any non league magazines? there used to be one, a few years ago. I heard there was a new one out but not read or seen it.
