ONE
Our manager has ordered us all to wear shirts and ties to games until further notice...this is mainly because this seasons new players havent got club tracksuits that all last seasons lads have...i personally think this is a real pain in the ass and think it makes everyone look untidy as everyone wears different trousers/shirts/ties ect ect....wot do you think !? NeutralFan
I think we went through this on another forum but I am a tracksuit suit man. Suits, shirts and ties are just not right for muddy football changing rooms. Not as comfortable.. and in the heat even worse. I have a spare track suit in immaculate condition someone can purchase off me.. I'll pick the initials (stupid idea anyway!) off for free!
GRS67
Edgware players had nice new tracksuits made for them last season. They usually turn up for games wearing these.
Tubbsy8
I am a tracksuit and polo shirt man. Quite right that suits are not the way forward. Tell your gaffa I know a few people who will do a deal on some tracksuits for you in fact they supplied your lot last season!

GRS67
I think suits at this level is a bit over the top. Wearing club tracksuits is nice and smart. If the club got to the final of the vase, then ok suits, but to be told to wear them for league games is a bit much IMO.
Sharming Paula
From a womans point of view - suits look better!! More prossesional looking but not sure if thats right for these leagues. Even when we were in the Conference I dont think the players always wore suits although they were not in trakkies either!! However, give me a man in a suit anyday - Rhodes where are you??? neutralbob
IMO suits for home games, track suits for mid week or away games, suits look good and tracksuits look professional also. helps when fining players too coz they always turn up wearing something they shouldnt! thats y we do it at brook, we say u have to wear suits on sats and loads dont do it at time so they end up paying £15 toward end of season tour! Adie Haynes
Suits are just not practical in the South Mids you wait till some of the grounds you have to go to. You will end up covered in mud and looking a right bunch of numpties
