We came back twice to draw 2-2 in a hard played game with a blustery end to end wind and I've seen the pitch in a better condition at Rush Green.

I wonder if Fords dug it up and grew vegetables on it for their staff canteen in the close season and then forgot to restore it back to a football pitch.

 

The outside pitches seemed to be in better condition.
