Ground - Unofficial update

I recieved a wholehearted apology from our Chairman MR.Malcolm Rowlett last night for not issuing a statement when promised on a previous occasion.The meeting he had with the council/Ezekiel on Monday was just an informal one but he assures me that things are still on track & that we have nothing to worry about.He assures me that the Council are 100% behind us & are doing their best to help us with this. There are little niggly items to sort out as apparently there are with planning permission but he assures me we are o.k.& we WILL be seeing a new ground on schedule.

He is supposed to be putting a little statement out confirming the above on line via Vicky today but just in case he lets me down again (maybe forgets to as he dosent read our forum) then please accept that which I have mentioned above to be similar to that which he is supposed to be putting out sometime today.

Malcolm is not just our Chairman but a true supporter of this club for many years.I used to laugh & joke & discuss things with him on the terraces.If anyone should be trusted then it is he.I dont think he will let us down therefore I take his word on this.

Unless there is a sudden change to circumstances then it should be read that there is no cause for concern it seems,no cause whatsoever!

I would like to thank him for giving me his apology & for giving me/us this good news.

It would be welcomed,I'm sure,if the club could issue an official statement confirming the above.

A little more patience so it seems!
