PREDICTION LEAGUE 2006/7

 

Would you like to play along? Its FREE" to play & its "EXCLUSIVE" to Margate fc registered forum supporters.(If you post on our forum & support Margate FC you are eligible!)

This Competition is OURS though. Exclusive to Margate fans.

 

The Competition Details

 

You predict where each club from the Ryman Premier league will finish in the table at the end of the season.

 

Scores are given for the DIFFERENCE of your predictions compared to the ACTUAL finishing position at the end of the season.

 

Your aim is to get the LEAST amount of points as possible.

 

i.e You predict Margate to finish 1st. They then end up finishing 2nd. You get the difference of 1 point.

i.e. You predict that Ramsgate will finish 22nd l.o.l. & they actually finish (top) 1st l.m.a.o.

You get 21 points.

 

Its as simple as that!!

 

All I need is for you to forward to me your entry.

1st column : The clubs name

2nd column : Your predicted end of season finish in the table.(All 22 clubs must be covered).

Please give me your name too!

 

Updates will be shown on OUR forum from time to time during the season to show you where your standing is at that point.

 

Please forward your entries to me by the 19th August (1st games),before 3pm.

 

Do so by either E.mailing them to me on teecookie@ceecookie.freeserve.co.uk or by personal message to me.If you wish to hand me your predictions at any game PRIOR to the 19th August that will be fine too.

Make a copy for yourself while you'e at it.

 

AS with Hampton & Richmond I too will be giving a TROPHY to the winner at the end of the season.

 

If this proves to be popular I will try & do one each & every other year from now on.

 

You never know, after a couple of years we may even get Jeff Trice to put the competition winners on his now famous history site.

 

Go on have a go! It will take you 5 minutes to sort out your predictions & to send them to me ready for the kick-off.

 

Who will be 2006/7 Champion predictor? Who will be the 1ST champion?

 

I hope the response is good & that it gives you something else to keep your eyes on during the season.

 

A presentation to the winner will be given at the presentation evening at the end of the season.

I like it, an will give it a go, but entry will be in close to 19th to see any late developments.

 

Is there an entry fee with funds to the club ?

Read the first line Michael of my post where it states its "free" to enter.No monies will change hands & therefore no monies go to the club.Its just something for US to participate in & to look at as the season goes. by. The TROPHY will be provided for at the end of the season to the winner by me.
