Has anyone arranged to do them today? I will be getting updates up until half-time (have to go to work after that)from Blues with Soul. If there is someone doing updates then I shall leave well alone but if no-one is then I can give Blues with Soul's phone number via p.m of course, to continue with them where I leave off,if someone so wishes to continue through to the final whistle.

Subs are:Robinson,Wisker,Cory,Williams,Sesay, Smith.

Mitten is kicking about (warming up in goal)

Other news: Manny is supposedly trialling for WORTHING today.

Indeed Cookie! Best team we've had since the Conference days, infact, most of these players are good enough to be in that team. Great if Manny plays for us on Tuesday- I remember when he played for us in the Conference, won us loads of points, was so dissapointed when he went to Gravesend.

I repeat if anyone wants to take over conversing with Robert (Blues with Soul) direct from the ground please call me "now" on 07714063577 so that I can give you his phone number. He will then call you(if he knows your number)every time something worthwhile happens.Cheers.

Have to go in a few minutes. Hurry if you want to help.I will be here for just 10 minutes more thats all. If no-one calls I cant help anymore today.

Surely Trotty cant lose his unbeaten record today at Erith. Not with the team we have out. Is this our "wake up call". I am expecting a turn round in fortunes in the second half hoping for a scoreline of around 3 or 4 goals to 1 for the gate at full-time.I know, its only a friendly. Still I am totally confident the boys will turn this round today!

Well, if we lose to a team at Eriths level, with our first team, it proves that something is wrong... Our first team should have no problem against them. So they're either showing our weaknesses, or Trott hasn't got the team firing on all cylinders for today's game... yet!

Come on Gate, lets score a few goals again.

Anyway, I think friendlies will never be seen in the same way as a league or cup game in terms of importance (though the England-Argentina friendly came close last year just because of the rivalry), but winning can give confidence to a side. So in terms of confidence, the longer we can go unbeaten under Trotty, the more it will grow, surely?

Hopefully as cookie says, that was the required wake up call.

Agree that the starting line up looks good , but that squad is so so thin.

We have not replaced Deen, Brayley, Gradley and Yiga.

Thats a quality player in each of the key areas of defence/ midfield and striker.

With a couple of injuries and suspensions,we would frankly be in the mire. You normally have 3 players out at anyone time with a combination of these factors. The squad is way too thin on seasoned players.Yes the youngsters show promise, but you dare not blood more than one at a time. The League season is way different to summer friendly games.

Where was Standen today-hopefully he is also not looking to move on !!

Again, we have a great team when all fit, but there is so little additional cover.

Whats the betting that Worthing 'seize the moment' and get Manny signed up today !!

RT needs to get some additional quality players ina bit quick imo
