Just back from time in the north east of Scotland.

On my travels i passed and took in the grounds of your beloved Aberdeen(and watched the squad doing stamina runs over the sand dunes) and Keith. Also saw Fraserburgh, Devrondale, Forres Mechanics . The grounds in the Highland league compared to the Ryman are very nice, well maintained though there standing areas are still grass banks. Also saw Peterhead, Elgin and Caley thistle. I took the kids to see Loch Ness, took a boat trip but no sign of Nessy. I predict it won't be long, the tourist numbers are down so Nessy will be about soon.

Read in the press and journal that unemployment in Aberdeenshire is down to 1% causing a big problem for companies wanting to expand.

Global warming is having a big effect up there. You could actually go into and stay in the sea without freezing, 10 years ago you stuck a to in then ran. Pipe fish are know being found on a regular basis and we sat on pennan harbour with a pint and watched 4 Minky whales feeding just off. Any way, thought you may be interested. Hope to see you at the Burgess Hill game.

Thanks BB thought you must have been on holiday. If you saw Keith's ground you must have been in the heart of the Distillery country where the best Malts and blends come from (however, if I knew you were going there I could have given you my cousins address who makes the best home malt in Scotland).
