Pat was a nice guy, and looked good when he was on the pitch, but he seemed to be continually injured, and we can't be sure this'll clear up. Plus I expect as we signed him during our Conference South days, his wages are higher than many of the other players we've signed over the last year, so can maybe free up the wages to bring a player like Manny into the team.

Pat was very underated-probing and played the simple ball well.Broke up alot of attacks.

Wish him well, and hope he does not join another Ryman club and come back to haunt us.

Hope he gets a role with a conference club so not competition.

 

(i have a gut feeling h will go back to Boreham Wood or worse still-Chelmsford .

 

In the meantime, onwards and upwards for the 'Gate we hope,but i am a bit jittery now about how thin the 'core' of the squad looks

For what its worth - and you guys no as much as us, Manny isnt the best of finishers. But i would in your team? have him in a squad in your league without a doubt - he was sporadic with us and can win you a game when no-one else looks like doing it!!

 

But i wouldnt say as a winger he would have the most natural cross in the world - with the likes of Protheroe - best ball player in Kent in your team!!

 

Still these are options we had and made work in the conference! so i have every faith in my 10GBP bet on you guys turning the money my way!!

 

Manny in the hole behind your strikers?? just a thought??!!

To me, i would have Manny as sub., coming on after 60 mins for DH or Pinnock to give different attacking options,if things are going a bit off
