You seem to forget that when it comes to interests Ezekiel has publically stated his two sports are rugby and football. BUT when saying who he supports it was Thanet Wanderers (his local club)and Spurs. Just proves he knows nothing about football with that choice.

Probably does not know where the football ground is unless there are tv cameras like the Fulham game. Then you could not move for local councillors struggling to get on the bandwagon.

think it would be nice if mfc put an update on the forum as to how we are progressing with the ground as it looks like we the supporters are the last to know, are we turning the pitch have we got the green light or are we staying as we are for a couple of seasons. someone talk to us as i feel we are your regular bread and butter clientel please please please talk to us dont leave us in the dark.

I believe that was part of what I was hoping to hear from our Chairman, Phil. Seems either the meeting planned either didnt take place in which case it could have been mentioned or that it did take place & the news coming out of that meeting wasnt too positive,hence the broken promise of a reply. Surely had it been good news it would have been plastered all over the place for as many to see as is possible by now.My point with this thread is to shake things up a bit & get a response(either way),however,even now response by anyone connected with the club has not beem forthcoming,to my disappointment.You have to wonder why!

 

As for the council may I point out that though I use the council leaders name in my posts I am not apportioning any blame etc on him personally.It is down to those that make the decisions but the fact that he IS the leader allows me to use his name as ultimately he DOES have a say in all this even if the final decision may not be his.

 

I feel annoyed that the club are not keeping us up to scratch with things whether it be good OR bad news.Failure to disclose ANYTHING is looking more like bad news than good to me.

 

This pateince of ours is wearing thinner by the day.Thats not just me as I hear it on the terraces from others too. Others that dont come onto the forum,might I add. In fact a LOT more.

If its not good news then be honest with us.Thats all I have asked for & thats what I feel we deserve in all this,complete honesty.It may not be to our likng but at least we will know where we stand & where things can take us from hereon. But either way, good or bad,regardless of who's to blame for this continued long drawn out saga we are overdue a response or an update of some kind.

Its failure to keep us up to scratch with things that allows threads of this nature to be posted.

Self infliction by the club I'm sorry to say.

We shouldnt have to come on talking in this manner.We are being ignored & thats something we should all be concerned about.

n.b. I will not be apologising to ANYONE for starting this thread as I feel I have every right, as do all others, to want to know whats going on or not going on.

Nothing mentioned above should detract from the fact that our council arent doing enough to help us.Other councils are doing their utmost & moving things on so its about time ours did the same.

"We shall not,we shall not be moved" so bloody well help us council!

There should ALWAYS be something to report Steve. Even if its just something like "things are going well but nothing more to add at this time" or similar.You'd be surprised just how much little mentions like this keeps people like me from asking.But only if its the truth!

Team containing Erith well. Pretty even match but Gate have had 3 good chances that on other days would have converted. Not much else to report at the moment.

Actualy ,quite interesting as it shows the importance of the first goal and how games can turn.

 

Looks like we could have been 2-0 up after 25 minutes but ended up losing.

 

Against fisher, we could have been 3-0 down after 25 mins but won 5-2.

 

In reality, i suspect we were not that bad yeasterday, as we were not that good against Fisher until we took control in the last 20 minutes

Im sure you were expecting me to post eventually! My internet connection is limited so I dont post often, but I do read this forum almost everyday.

 

Lets bear in mind that off-forum a Councillor has jumped the gun and said that the plans appeared at Council (they havent). I expect nothing less from that person Im afraid.

 

Please keep a watch on UKPlanning.com. The plans WILL appear there. While the pdfs on the MFC site are good, I cant read the text (its not old age kicking in prematurely!) so I cant comment on it yet.
