Unfortunately this game is now off because of delays in work on the pitch. That's a real shame as we would have started our pre-season against the club from the ground known as White Hart Lane and finished it actually in White Hart Lane itself. Anyway, there will still be the opportunity for Town fans to make their way to Coles Park for home reserve games this season.

If you are really stuck for replacement opponents and have Goldsdown Road available, Edmonton Rovers are looking for a 7.45.p.m. kick-off on Monday 14th August against Senior Saturday opposition.

 

Ironically, I was originally trying to fix a game up against Haringey Borough on this date as our keeper has just joined them, but reading on here that their pitch is not ready, obviously we won't be able to play them either.

 

Virtually all of our players have played in either the Rymans, Spartan South Midlands and other Senior Saturday Leagues at some stage, so we should be able to give an Enfield Town XI a decent game...and of course I will video the match free of charge, which will no doubt be handy for Jim and his coaching staff.
