Cant see him as first choice.

 

 

Gillingham have signed keeper Richard Mannerings on a one-year contract from non-league Maidstone United.

The 17-year-old has signed for the League One side after impressing during a trial spell at Priestfield.

 

"He's a very good lad who has never let us down," Maidstone manager Alan Walker told his club's website.

 

"He's a bit inexperienced but he's got a chance to work with some good keepers for a year and I hope that he manages to get something out of it."
