The team is still gelling, perhaps we did play a bit of long ball but I thought Gravesend looked a good side who were that bit stronger and faster than us - pretty difficult to play the passing game when you are closed down as quickly as they were doing. Whilst the actuall football wasn't pretty, it was a very good workout for the boys

you were ejected from the ground because of foul and abusive language that was way beyond the realms of what is acceptable. Many complaints preceeded you being asked to leave. You may have an opinion (as do others who actually thought we played robustly last night against a very good team three leagues above us) and a season ticket but that doesn't entitle you to behave like a complete and utter moron.

sorry adrian..not acceptable and you should know better. Perhaps best to leave the drink alone mate when attending footie matches..

This is the first pre-season game that I've missed and from the comments above I'm guessing you went to the wrong ground!

From the games that I have seen already this season I can say that we have a more than competent squad who, I'm sure if asked, could play more than one formation quite easily....

I'm sure there will be times when the old 'up and under' is required as it doesn't matter how good you are, there will always be backs to the wall times.

Just ask chelsea and huth!

Beer and football....what, together, on the same day...no, crazy behaviour. have to say in my playing days I was often sworn at from the touchline, mainly by my father and sadly it helped bring my career to a swift end......well, and being rubbish didn't help.
