Daggers took the lead after 18 seconds with a screamer, we equalised in the second half when Hodges converted a pen after he had been fouled. Good workout - our shape looked good, and 1st few minutes apart I thought we defended a lot better than in recent games.

Overall a pleasing performance defensively as you have mentioned Si...

 

We looked bright in all departments and did hold our shape very well when under pressure...

 

A couple of great strikes by our front two and a couple coming from midfield only to be denied by their keeper, who played a blinder (apparently he doesn't usually according to a couiple of Daggers supporters who stood next to me in the Cow Shed).

 

Overall, another good work out but I would like to see us be a bit more clinical in front of goal...I'm sure when the season starts, we'll be fine.
