His Testimonial. Nothing being said concerning this. Just because he has departed dosent mean we should let this "thank you" game be forgotten. Has anyone out there any cast iron news on this?

Thank you Drummer. The credit most definately goes to you for bringing it up in the first place. I have read the replies on there & nothing states officially or in "cast iron" what is really happening concerning this.I suppose only the club or Bill can really tell us exactly whats occurring with this.I just thought that some supporters might have heard something on this since your mention of it hence my re-ignition of the subject.

You are correct in that lots of people are concerned that he should STILL be allowed his promised testimonial.Another reason for bringing up the subject again.

Maybe the club will shed some light on this.

I would be massively disappointed in the club if they go back on their word as regards to this. Its something that I believe should be highlighted on occasions to keep it in the spotlight rather than be swept under the carpet. The guy gave us plenty & he should still be entitled to his deserved testimonial.

I posted a query about this on July 3 - so there! But seriously, it seems unlikely that a top side will be able or willing to commit to a testimonial once the Premiership is under way.

West Ham have been mentioned but they are in Europe this season, so they would have even fewer free midweeks than usual.

Then credit goes to you too GW. Well done!

Credit for bringing up the subject wasnt my aim but after talking to people & hearing their their concerns on Saturday I felt the need to do so again.I hope many others likewise will continue to bring up the subject on occasions too.

So far no-one on the terraces seems to know anything.Fair enough.Though what you say is sensible it is still not "concrete" news & thats what that I am after.

I will have to make my own enquiries then.
