The end for WWolf...................

Recommended Posts

Despite a 1-0 home defeat against Southern League Division One South & West outfit Windsor & Eton at the weekend, Ryman League Division One North club Ware have shown much continued promise in the form of their talented forward duo of Steve Horsey and Daryl Hanson.

Horsey came through the youth team ranks to register a double strike against Molten Spartan South Midlands Premier Division side St Margaretsbury in the pre-season pipe opener

Ware being in the ascendency in the 5-2 Hertfordshire derby success, built on this platform in midweek with a narrow but fully deserved 2-1 win at Brimsdown on Tuesday, and at its conclusion team boss Glen Alzapiedi confirmed that their opponents had been well organised and disciplined and given them a thorough test of their credentials.

Again Horsey was on target to reap a rich dividend of three goals in two games by virtue of the match-winner against their Middlesex hosts late on in the second half.

Alongside Horsey the continued good form of fellow front runner Hanson was a big plus mark at Brimsdown. Hanson, a strong front runner and popular with the Wodson Park faithful, has much to offer if he can continue the form displayed to date.

Ahead of the Stansted game in midweek meticulous attention to detail is in evidence by Alzapiedi (pictured) and his talented staff of coaches.

Whilst club chairman Aiden Mynott confirmed to nonleaguedaily that nothing was taken for granted at Ware, with many new ventures on the horizon these are exciting and challenging times for his club, including the hosting of Sunday`s charity fundraising game between an ex-Spurs team skippered by Martin Chivers against a Celebrity Golfing Society side, full details of which will be confirmed on nonleaguedaily.
