NeutralFan
Rhodes, might join you for that one!
Rhodes
Yes looks like a few of us in here will be turning up on Gavin's doorstep on a regular basis looking for a free pint or two particularly as he has painted such a bright picture of the White Lion Ground. Where you planning to go on Tuesday 22 August NeutralFan, I see Hertford Town and St Margaretsbury are both at home and Kingsbury are at home to Broxbourne Borough the following night with us at home to Brache Sparta that night, a real feast of football to choose from. NeutralFan
There is a good choice there. If Hertford and St Mugs are at home on the same night I might do first half Hertford and second half St Mugs. I'll try and pick a game up Hendon or WLG when the others aren't playing. I think Hendon, Kingsbury and Edgware are sort of on my way home from work (Stevenage - Islington)
Rhodes
Well that's a new one on me but I suppose if there is no traffic you can drive from Hertford to St Margaretsbury in ten minutes or so with your foot down Schumacher style. Yes let me know when you're coming to Hendon to watch Kentish Town and I'll describe myself so we won't miss each other like last Saturday at Potters Bar, or was that Neutralbob as I get you's two confused, I'm about 6 foot 3, usually wear high heels, pony tail and carry a crocodile skin handbag. So you live in Islington then, I'm not trying to pick you up but my Mother lives in Highbury where I grew up watching Charlie George and John Radford just off the Blackstock Road. NeutralFan
Hertford to St Mugs is 5 miles so an easy 7 minute drive! That was NB at PB. Although I might pop by PB for a midweek game to see Judgo or watch the first team, got a couple of ex team mates over there. I'm not far from Blackstock Road, on the otherside of Hollway Road, just off Liverpool Road. Great view of Pentonville Prison off the back bedroom balcony!! Just in process of buying a place over the other side just off Essex Road.
Rhodes
Nice one, yes I know Essex Road, bit of a rough area at times but near Upper Street and the Angel, expensive area so they must be paying you too much in Stevenage, is it British Aerospace. As you like Hoddesdon Town too can't you try and get Roger or Jane on here, they must have heard of us by now and the banter that goes on about their programme.
