Chalmer-Stevens

According to a Maidstone fan who is mates with our new triallist keeper his name is Chalmer-Stevens. Seems he started out on Charlton's books and even considered going to America last season when he left Mansfield. Seems this lad has got more ambition to stay in football than most.

Hope we can get him signed up.

Chalmer-STEVENS it is then. Hope that clears up some peoples misunderstandings, including mine.

He has shone for us so far & even with Charlie back I would imagine he would be our number 1 keeper on what he's shown so far, provided he signs of course.I Dont think we can afford to lose his services. He certainly dosent deserve to be placed below Charlie at this stage & thats no disrespect to Charlie who I feel is still a good enough keeper to have on our books.

Agree with cookie 100%, Chalmer-Stevens looks a very good prospect for his age and the sooner we get him signed up the better.

Cracking. Lets hope Trotty dosent dither on this one.(Am not implying he has done so before on other signings). I understand its all about budget but a keeper is a must & I cant imagine us having the chance to sign anyone better. Be nice to know where we stand on this one as I am sure is Chalmers-Stevens.
