Thanks for report.

Is Lewis Bristar another of the 'younger reserves'-a striker ?

I note that Pat Gradley was absent-any known reason?

Squad whilst full of quality, seems to be dimishing a bit quick

-Brayley,Deen,Yiga,.Mitten-long term injury?,

Thats before injuries and suspensions.

All part of the original squad and effectively not yet replaced,so 4 players short of original squad size.

Hopefully PG who is quality is just on holiday

Spoke to Pat in the bar & he had a little niggle at the side of his knee so sat this game out as a precaution. Believe Bristar comes from Deal area but not certain

mm, Bristar certainly played as a forward yesterday, but it is difficult to know if that is his position or not, Robinson was played wide as an attacking midfielder for the Fisher game and yet went up front yesterday. As Taffy said, heard he was from the Deal area.

Plenty of running in these young lads, but the finish is not yet there, and there are the occasional rash tackles. Experience and training with the experienced team members should do a lot to bring them on, but they unquestionably have ability.

Bristar is an unusual name, but you can only take what is printed on the team sheet, so I hope it was right. Got caught out a couple of times with the last game on the names because of this. That, and the teams sometimes sending out players in identically numbered shirts poses quite a difficulty if you are trying to report coherently on friendlies.

Charlie was working with Chalmers-Stevens in the warm ups yesterday, and looked reasonably fit.

The ground was rock-hard, so if Pat had a niggle, it is probably very wise for him not to have played. Let's hope for some nice torrential downpours prior to the season proper, and some good soft turf. I am sure Ray would appreciate a rest from all that watering as well!

I'd like to see Hockton and pinnock rested in next 2 games.

We have a bit of midfield cover, but no cover up front and if they get injured -easy on the hard grounds-we are a bit snookered at moment
