cracking game with the urchins up against a speedy conf sth outfit who dominated the first half midfield and went in for the break 2-0 up altho' the second was blatantly offside....(cracking one touch first mind you)

 

second half and the urchins and the eastside woke up and reversed the form...two late goals after total pressure from us and unlucky not to nick it....goals from sadler and holland and well done the eastside...back to work in full voice after their summer vaccation.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

great day and well done everyone involved in organising it...232 in the crowd...

Interesting game!

Most armchair supporters were of the opinion that the first half team would probably be the first team.

Interesting that the second half was a far better performance with more of the old urchin spirit of never say die, which was definately lacking in the first half.

Holland and Sadler or Lee and Parker??????

Holland is looking brilliant at the moment, tough to chose though and cant forget burbs, i really cant pick 2, its too hard.

On todays great second half comeback its got to be Holland and Sadler up front with Burbs coming on to do late damage. I thought Jonathon Greening played left midfield anyway.

Their second goal was onside and nice finish but made the comeback better.
