I've seen him play. He definately stood out.

Seems a very effective player. Not that pretty but direct and good at holding the ball up.

Very good for Step 5.

Is he getting old (or pilling on the poinds) yet though?

Or will he still be banging the goals in for a few years to come?

Scoring goals wasn't really that much of a problem last year.. it was more of how many we were letting in.

Coops is a great signing and should complement Redford very well

Kev Cooper - Legend and a top bloke. We had him at St mags last year and he was a great bloke to have round the place. He will probably be the first to admit that he was unable to find the form that made him the top Rymans scorer in the past. I for one wish him well.

Er right, I got this from a Hertford Town v Chertsey Town match report from 2004/2005, enjoy:

'Kevin Cooper was put clear on 78 mins, he’s usually so assured in this situation but today, he first slipped and then tripped over his own feet and the chance disappeared'.

To be fair the report carries on as follows:

'Chertsey kept going forward and the crowd were able to perform their new repertoire of songs when tv personality Ralf Little appeared as a substitute with 10 mins to go, but immediately, Greenwood played in Cooper to beat the keeper at the second attempt. Then Phil Goss scored in stoppage time with a wickedly deflected shot as Chertsey finally ran out of steam. Danny Wackett and Daniel Staples were solid at the back for the Blues, Leo Turner got stronger the longer the game went on'.
