AWK
Thanks for that Red_Robbo, they certainly have extended it haven't they. Looks like were playing at home to a Rugby Club then <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />
Rhodes
AWK - You must fancy your chances to do fairly well in this competition and should turn over Goldington Lions in the First Round, hopefully you can avoid the 'big boys' such as Brache Sparta, Bedford United and Arlesey Town until the latter stages. Good luck anyway.
AWK
Thanks for the best wishes Rhodes, it would be great to have some success in the competition. In the last four seasons Brache Sparta have won it twice, in the other two seasons they were knocked out at 61 but unfortunetly we haven't been able to get past the Semi-Final on either occasion. The Goldington Lions match should be an interesting one as i have no idea how good they are, but as they are from the Bedfordshire Football League we should be able to beat them. Brache and Bedford Utd face each other in the first round, so thats got to be a bonus, but should we go through then theres every chance we will face our bogey team Crawley Green in the second round, mind you weve got to beat them sooner or later!! Rhodes
AWK - Yes Crawley Green have an excellent set up and are an FA Charter Standard Club, I will be working with them in due course to help Kentish Town get their Charter Standard status by this time next year. We need to try and get more SSML Division 1 and 2 Club's on here and the remainder of Premier Division Club's for that matter, they all must have heard about the Forum by now but are perhaps waiting for the start of the season to get involved rather than get sucked into some of the silly stuff that is bantered about, no names mentioned. AWK
Im sure that they will get to hear about it as the season starts Rhodes, considering how new the board is I think its doing quite well so far.
Rhodes
I plan to send a circular e-mail to every SSML Club Secretary, well apart from Haringey Borough, in the next week or so with a link to the Forum, that should do the trick. I need to tell them I have left Haringey Borough and am now with Kentish Town incase there is any confusion so it will kill two birds with one stone and we should then get a lot more new Clubs represented on here such as er Hoddesdon Town.
