Can anyone tell me as i missed the game,does he have the pace to play sweeper,does he fit the Bill, pardon the pun,i am sure that is the position we need to sort out,we are not all that quick in that dept however RT has a done a great job so far not lost a game yet.

Certainly hope we're not planning to play a sweeper. Sappleton is a central defender in a flat back four (the way it should be). I think and hope the wing backs and sweeper formation is gone for good.

I read that Crawley have had a central defender by the name of Patrick Stapleton playing last 3 games-and they are full time-of a fashion-.

 

Fans rate him-must be the same guy.

 

Pity if he does not sign for us.

Mixed views on Sappleton although some say he had a very good game today against a strong Brentford side. Seems like its in the balance whether they sign him. Who knows what is happening to them with the threat of administration. Good find that one MM.

Let him go, it seems we have a great bond in the team. Without bighead goalkeepers or defenders wanting silly money. Nichols will never make the money his mate J Terry does. With the team we have goalkeeper at the mo is by far sufficient.All i can say to the players with agents is ,google Mark Green where is he now. Good luck Hasim

We can do without players like Hasim Deen who think they can walk away and not pick up the phone. I can't believe some want him back after all that. Better rid of him.

 

Chalmer-Stevens is as good as Nicholls and potentially could be even better. He's only 20 I think.

Can;' blame him for rying to get a contract at a higher level.

 

Quandry for him must be that Crawley are going to revert to part-time,and Hollins is almost certainly leaving,so he may not be on the radar of a new manager.

 

Best stick with Trotty if i were him,and a club going places
