While filling up my car with petrol en route to work this morning, I noticed an advert (6" square) on the handle of the petrol pump. "Fairly effective" I thought, "hardly prime media, therefore reckon it wouldn't cost so much" Any chance the club could rent such spare spaces from canvey base petrol stations and use it to insert full season fixtures lists (or even the upcoming 3 games). Never know - may bring in 1 or 2 more paying punters.

.....also, I know this has been discussed a few years back, but its time to leverage those business which claim a stake in the community.

Local shops (not necessarily town centre based), all the pubs, waterside farm, library, indeed any public place should have a poster of the season fixutres. Also why isn't there a notice board OUTSIDE the ground containing the full season line up ?

There is probably no accurate metric to ever determine whether or not such actions pay-off, but its all about spreading the message "CIFC haven't gone anywhere. We're a smaller more nimble club, with a great family friendly atmosphere"

.......only a suggestion, will happily volunteer to approach businesses, but certainly not to lead campaign. Any thoughts ?
