it is bad, but if someone is wound up they say things they dont mean. the Hornchurch fan who threatened to smash a glass in my face when it kicked off at park lane didnt mean it, he was just wound up. to me it just seems like you are feeding off the trouble and making a bad situation worse. i cant see anyother reason apart form you want trouble.

you don't need to take it seriously eastie and the matter is best left...

most of these posters on the canvey forum were probably not around in the old days of the kingy banter and the games 'tween us... so best left...I doubt even that these are the posters from canvey that took great delight in spamming our forums and abusing me when we had our 'troubles'...we were sensitive than and they are now...'cest la vie'...

if they are the same posters then that is a matter for them to think about...

ribbit (whoever he or she is) has most likely been dealt with by the clubs mods so we move on....

these guys are coming down to us in two weeks and bad feeling is not good...

to me it just seems you lot are the ones who don't want to leave it,i don't want trouble,we are the ones who have been threatened with stabbing,which bit of that don't yiou understand,now i am going now and leaving you thugs to your forum,see you next week,no blades please though!

Nobody has said that you deserve to be stabbed nor that anybody wants other Hornchurch fan stabbed.

 

No Canvey Island fan here has said that or is trying to encourage anything that will create any incident between the club's fans when we play next week.

 

I will certainly say right now as somebody who saw their first football match in 1969, that I have seen football violence at it's worst over the years and I deplore it in any way, shape or form.

 

It is not down to anybody but Ribbit to apologise to you but all I would say is that whilst I really am sorry that a Canvey fan has so mindless threatened you and seemingly your fellow Hornchuch fans as well, you are the one who has created the problem through your own stupid actions so do not try to act as if you are blameless in the matter.

 

If you are genuinely worried about this threat, why not inform the police who I am sure would be able to trace the individual concerned through their ISP address.

I have to agree with EASTSIDE URCHIN,i have watched these events over the last week or so and he has wound you Lads up.

On occasions he has called you names,ie pikeys or pr*cks but you have always given as good as you get,i do recall people calling him a w**ker the other night for not much.

But the threat on friday night was shocking to say the least and i know that some Afc Hornchurch fans are worried about the game now,i really think some of you lads should liven up.

Football is a game for supporters of each teams to follow their clubs and banter is a part of that,it happens in every office and shops monday morning but from the look of it on here canvey fans think that no one should ever have a pop at their team.

Is this Eastside Urchin under another name?

There has now been about 20-30 comments saying to leave it as it is only making it worse. There has also been 20-30 comments apologising for Ribbit and telling you that there will be no threatening behaviour shown to you whatsoever when we play you. Plus, we have told you that Ribbit is a knob who wouldn't know what to do with a knife and would probably attempt to eat yogurt with it!

The thing is that you DO know this and you know that there would never be an attack on you and that it was the work of a dweeb called Ribbit who we know had too many shandys and couldn't control himself after watching Arnie films in his pants!

So why keep on? Because you want a reaction and you could be one of these fans who we keep talking about who just loves trouble by stirring it up. If your not one of these fans, then show it immediately by leaving it or we will just ignore you RIGHT NOW and you wont have anything to say anymore anyway. If you carry on after my thread then the truth is out and you really DO want trouble. If not, we will leave it because it has all been explained and you know that nothing will come of these 'threats' from 'Fib'bit Ribbit, the Canvey knifeman.

I mean, if you know Ribbit like we do, you'll know he would probably cut his dic* off by accident using a knife more than he would attempt to stab a supporter.
