From reading the local press it looks like he's after:

 

- A centre back (Saulsbury)

- A back-up keeper if the Budget stretches to that (Beams)

- Two Strikers

- A right sided player

 

Which is exactly what we need in my opinion. What does everyone else think?

It depends really on who is defintely signed on for next season. We could need a lot more than the above. The club has said Jarvis has signed and 'terms' agreed with some of the others.

 

Beams looked pretty decent against Enfield. I'd be surprised if he is just looking to be a back up keeper

DJD, don't get too hot under the collar about Saulsbury, he's signed for Brackley.

 

I think the rumours started flying about when he was seen at the Maidenhead game talking to Roy.

 

I bet he was saying 'Roy, I've got my boots in the car, please give us a game and I'll consider joining you (not).

Shame about Saulsbury - we do need another defender of his kind of quality.

 

I'd pretty much agree with others in that we need 2 strikers and someone with a bit of pace down the right wing. Replacing Hodgey is never going to be easy, but at least we still have McCleary, for now anyway. I'm looking forward to seeing who plays there against SYCOB.

Saulbury's career hasn't seemed to take off after he left Slough. He was a quality player and I am surprised he has ended up at Brackley, unless it is for the money only.
