Links Convert From UBB To HTML On Their Own!!

I've put the link in in UBB format, but when I view my post, it has changed to HTML and then promptly doesn't work!!

I think it just needed http:// before the www

If you don't include the "http://" then the link won't know that the page you are linking to is on another site. That is an HTML thing, not UBB and you will get errors if you start a link with...

...on your own web site. This is because the broswer needs to be told what protocol you are using to move data about (e.g. http = hypertext transfer protocol, ftp = file transfer protocol, rtsp = real time streaming protocol). If that isn't in a link it defaults to whatever your page uses but also looks for it within the folder your page is in within your domain because you haven't actually given it the full path.
