Edgware Town v Harrow Borough

Recommended Posts

Met police should not even be in the league, OB are a works side, and I read somewhere that even if they were good enough and won promotions they wont be allowedd to play in the conference.

Prob have a decent pitch/ground due to taxpayers money. Dont they groundshare with someone?

Still an ob team, they dont have any supporters, just fellow ob. Funny though, you would have though the ob team would be over here in Hendon.

No lads but Gavin probably has a valid point about tax payers money if only we knew!

The SSML are very big on grub after games and insist that is of a high quality, the hierarchy often turn up unannounced at 2.55 or 7 40 to sample it and if it isn't to their liking then you are in trouble, be warned.

Have to disagree with you there Rhodes. As long as something edible is provided there is never a problem with the league.

Yes I was winding Gavin up however some Club's do put on better spreads than others and although it's the football that matters at the end of the day it's still nice to have a decent bit of grub laid on afterwards with Club's who push the boat out earning brownie points over Club's who don't bother much. Hillingdon Borough who were promoted last season were always head and shoulders above everyone else probably because the Chairman's missus did it and money didn't appear to be any object, Langford, Haringey, Broxbourne and Royston also push the boat out to name a few.

Okay, no offence meant but Les Ferdinand is pretty famous in footballing circles, just wondering whether he paid like everyone else.

I could tell you the story of Brian Talbot turning up to watch his son play for us at Aveley in the League Cup last season, but it would take too long.
