Help at Windsor - Wednesday evenings

Well to be honest did not expect to many of you to turn up ..actually was quite a good show from Windsor and a few from Slough ...quite a lot of tidying up got done, still would be nice if we could have a few more next wednesday it really makes light work to make the groun look respectable.....I had a good chat with Peter Simpson last night...yes things have drifted in his schedule but having flown in From Manchester yesterday afternoon passing over quite a few non league grounds ...I have to say now that the sprinkler system is up and working at Windsor ...The pitch is coming on...and will in the next few weeks show a great improvement....It is a nightmare for clubs to keep the grounds watered...

 

Poor Marlow /Beconsfield/Maidenhead all looked yellow in patches ! but Windsor started to look green and lush....I think their decision to put a sprinkler system has worked ...so would it not be nice for a few extra workers turned up to show willing....

 

If you don't want to do Windsor items our fixture board and club HQ needs painting and the paint was there and brushes to do Slough things...

 

Up the rebels...
