How do you think pre-season shaping up so far?

Early days yet. Some good players have played, but whether they sign for us remains to be seen. No doubt there are a few players looking to see who will offer what.

i think we have soom good players coming in and going. pre season i dont take seriously as its to try to gel the new team together.

 

Most looking forward to going to margate as never been to their ground before and as they are ex conference should be good.

 

Think ryman prem winners will either be Wombles or Margate.

How do you think pre-season shaping up so far? Too early to tell.

 

Are you happy with what you have seen? Some very positive steps and seem to be linked with decent players.

 

Where are the weaknesses? Pace amongst the centre backs - a target man up front.

 

Any suprise new faces turned up? Can't think.

 

Anyone been let go or moved on who you are sorry to see leave? Avery because I genuinely thought he had potential.

 

Do you take pre season seriously? Not really, a time to bring in new faces and bed in as a team which in the long run may prove vital but at the time seems fun and relaxed.

 

Anyone feel they have been conned by their club on the basis of inflated admission prices? No - remains well priced.

 

Ground most looking forward to visiting? Tonbridge - thoroughly enjoyed our last visit there cracking ground for atmosphere.

 

Ground least looking forward to visiting? Chelmsford - tried their best but it has a running track and we go there in December.

 

Which match are you most looking forward to? Hampton - I have a spleen to vent.

Are you happy with what you have seen?_ Again too early to tell, some potential and only time will tell.

 

Where are the weaknesses? Defence, Slow and got worries as last season took to long for them to gel.

 

Any suprise new faces turned up? Never surprised.

 

Anyone been let go or moved on who you are sorry to see leave? We need to ask why so many have left when at the back end of last season Eddie said that he expected to bring in a couple of new faces as he had a settled team.

 

Do you take pre season seriously? Yes - this is a time for the players to show how they have kept fit during the close season and their hunger to play for Slough.

 

Anyone feel they have been conned by their club on the basis of inflated admission prices? No not at all.

Are you happy with what you have seen?_ Only made it to Maidenhead so far, so can't tell yet

 

Where are the weaknesses? Defence. I thought we were wide open on the right when playing 3 back at Maidenhead.

Do you take pre season seriously? Yes. Especially when we have so many new players. They need to learn how each other plays in match conditions. Otherwise we start the season losing.

 

Anyone feel they have been conned by their club on the basis of inflated admission prices? Nope at all.

 

Ground most looking forward to visiting? Margate. Never been.

 

Ground least looking forward to visiting? Chelmsford. Too many stupid jobworths.

 

Which match are you most looking forward to? Horsham.

1. Probably too early - only seen the M'head game and although we fought back for a draw we looked very shaky against a very average looking M'head team.

 

2. Happy - No

 

3. Weaknesses - All over the place.

 

4. Surprise faces - Tee Daly suddenly turning up.

 

5. No - Only players who want to play for the club should stay.

 

6. Yes - most teams only make a few changes to their squad - we've got a virtual bunch of strangers who not only have to gel together but be good enough to save us from the trap door.

 

7. No. I said last season that we should have been charging £8 because virtually every other club was and this year I'm sure they will be charging £9.

10. Hampton. To beat them would be sweet.
