Naturally, it's from the Jako website.

So we wait to see how it looks with the club badge and sponsor on.

Talking of sponsorship, I wonder if anything came of the communications I attempted to setup with GoVia?

(GoVia are the franchise owners of London & South East Railway, trading as southeastern.....)

Is it too soon to begin worrying about the lack of a main sponsor for next season as yet?

Oh no, some people have been worrying about it for months, the minute it became apparent they could use it as a stick to beat the club with... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Are you not worried then? I'm amazed a conference level football team have no MAIN shirt sponsor yet! with the season kicking off in no time at all!! Shirt sales will be nil until a sponsor is added surely?! Knock on effects everywhere. BUT i am certain the club have it under control - and im not joking, they will have it sorted.

I've seen teams higher up the leagues than us without sponsors at the beginning of the season, and sometimes part-way through. Which is of course not to gloss over it as it is an area of concern and one that hopefully will be/is being addressed.

I was more referring to the doom merchants who had us down for liquidation with no chairman, no players, no hope of any players, no stand and no sponsors. Only the latter remains to be clarified.

Unless the Club are asking ridiculous amounts for team sponsorship it seems odd that not a single business in Gravesend or for that matter Kent isn't prepared to sponsor the first team.

Liam Daish is quoted in today's papers indicating that his close to his budget in terms of recruiting players. The money raised from this avenue could allow another quality player to be recruited.

Why not take out an advert in the local press asking local businesses to come forward and sponsor the Fleet?

Close to his budget!! Ok it appears to have made some decent signings, but he's probably a couple of players short for comfort to my mind, particularly in defence & midfield.

I say this not to cast a shadow of doom over things, but both Charlie & DeBolla have a history of being injury prone, and that's before you consider anyone else.

Certainly imperitif we raise some sponsor money and soon.

Your probably correct regarding being a couple of players short. Liam seems to have spent his budget wisely but his quoted in the Gravesend Messenger saying:

"I've signed 16 players and I'm up to the hilt on budget. So apart from bringing in a couple of youngsters, I can't see me being involved in other deals"

3 of those 16 are ex-Pase lads too in Mott, Roberts and Moore who probably aren't on big money so it shows how careful the managers probably had to be spending wise.

Concerning if true, especially given your valid point about PASE players and the fact that just a couple of injuries would expose the squad's lack of depth.

That said, 'deals' presumably doesn't include loans, which look like they will be as necessary as they have been in previous seasons.
