New Posters

BlueGate Alan

Recommended Posts

Peter has sent me the new posters for our first league games against East Thurrock & Slough. These have now been printed & I will bring them up with me on Saturday & put in club house as usual. Please help yourself & make sure they get put up in shops, libaries, pubs etc

Perhaps in the new programme,Steve B could acknowledge shops/businesses/pubs who carry the posters on a separate page.Need only be one/two lines per outlet

Thus the shops get a bit of free publicity making it easier to persuade them to take posters, and hopefully more and more shops/business' would take them.

Need to expand the fan base quite seriously

Now that IS a good idea MM. I see Ramsgate have "powerful" posters up even now advertising their friendlies. They look smart. Thans Peter & Alan for doing them again. Are they different to last year or in a similar design? Check out Ramsgates. They are really good. We need to up the anti on these this year to compete with theirs.

There you go FF a different signature for you to use. Praise about Ramsgates posters.

Slightly different Cookie but why are we worrying about Ramsgate posters? When we start getting the results people will soon come to watch a winning team I reckon! Good idea of MM's though but up to Steve if it can be done

Yes I always get a few put up in Ramsgate Geoff & the guy in the fruit & veg shop used to say customers said how good ours look! Am guessing someone is doing the Ramsgate posters this season but I have no worries on that score as ours still catch the eye.

I wasnt putting last seasons posters down Alan. How could I? My point is that Ramsgate (being neighbours & touting for business in opposition to us have got some fine specimens of posters out & though ours were good it wouldnt hurt to try & surpass theirs.I found them very informative & clear to understand. Colourful too.
Again I am not saying ours are poor but maybe a different design could be considered. I havent seen the new ones so maybe they are different anyway. I realise these are all done for free by yourself & Peter & whatever Peter designs will be fine but it was meant as food for thought thats all. Ramsgate DO come into it if we are both competing on & off the field this year.
As I say the mention of it was my aim & I wasnt putting down those that supply a good poster for us already. It never hurts surely to improve if it be at all possible. It also dosent hurt to know what we are up against either.
Of course good results will bring them in through the gate but why stop at that.Maximising support should be ongoing in whatever way possible whatever the results are like.
My gratitude to both Peter & yourself for the hard work you both already do concerning these.
