Jimmy's favourite Colin Wall has joined Canvey. No doubt there's need for a psycho enforcer in the Ryman these days.

DOUBLE BLOW FOR GRAYS

After suffering the bad news that influential skipper Stuart Thurgood would miss a good chunk of the start of the new season after breaking his fibular against Leyton Orient last week, Nationwide Conference National club Grays Athletic have now been forced to cancel the contract of winger Ashley Sestanovich.

 

Following an incident which happened prior to joining Grays, Sestanovich has been arrested and is currently in Wandsworth Prison awaiting trial.

 

The club were unaware of any problems prior to signing Sestanovich (pictured) and this has come as a shock to the club.

 

Due to the seriousness of the incident Grays have terminated the former Sheffield United and Scarborough players` contract

When was Colin Wall at Gravesend, did he play much?

I think he played one game, it was about six years ago.

 

It was more the next time we met him playing for Tooting or Thurrock or someone when he went into tackles as if he was on some sort of broken-leg bonus!
