Where are the fixtures????

Recommended Posts

Sorry I was too subtle, Gav. The point I was making was that, although Ryman 2 was at level 5, the Ryman administration wasn't. We Div 2 clubs benefited to a huge extent from being in the Ryman family, and only now will some of it become apparent!!

I think most people got what you were saying Horace.. don't make it too obvious or you'll be getting Tring away moved to a Tueday night in January!!!

and then they'll start allocating you three officials from Milton Keynes who will all travel individually to rack up the expenses!!

Not the best view of Hoytey there.

Glad to see Lunny is looking as happy as ever.

Anymore glove jokes pb and they are off and it is on.

Anyone got hold of anymore fixtures following your friendly matches yesterday, it's only three weeks to the season so surely someone must know something, this is getting like something out of Miss Marple or Poirot however you spell his name. If Gavin knows Edgware play Biggleswade United on the 19th and Hertford have their first three fixtures then where are the others. Incidentally I thought that the three SSML Premier Division Club's not taking part in the FA Cup this season were Edgware and Kingsbury, due to financial irregularities, and Colney Heath, clearly I was wrong if the league have fixed up Edgware to play Biggleswdae United on Extra Preliminary Round day.

Gutted about the bye - last year we played Haverhill in the xtra prelim - Nice 6-0 victory - ideal start!

Any Knowledge on Hornchurch?

RobbieO - Paula will no doubt fill you in on Hornchurch but don't get too friendly! I thought you were down at Canvey Island next Saturday with Biggleswade United.

RobbieO, Hornchurch have just appointed last season's Thurrock manager and he has brought in a lot of last season's squad from the Nationwide South side and added a few other decent experienced players as well. They will almost certainly be red hot favourites to win Ryman Div 1 North as they are more or less playing a couple of divisions below their actual status. Think you may have your work cut out there but the FA Cup will always throw up a shock or two.

I would never tread on your toes Mr Rhodes ;-)

RobbieO - I would be most disappointed if you did.

So what do you think of your first three fixtures, I see you have a chance to gain

sweet revenge over Haringey Borough at Second Meadow on 26 August and then you're at home

to Langford on 29 August in your local derby

of the season now your bitter rivals

Biggleswade Town are playing at Bedford

United for the time being.

Hornchurch - you poor thing!!!
Have a youngish side but very entertaining and play decent footie. Only see them a couple of times last season - See them win the league at Southend Manor. Good attacking footie - no messing! Some new players in this season who I believe were playing in higher leagues last time out.
They are a well supported side and could bring a few with them to your game (it is a home fixture for you isnt it).
A couple of the players post on the Hx site! Great bunch of lads.
Hi Uncle Urchin (if ya reading this) <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/affig.gif" alt="" />
Will I be seeing you on the pitch on Saturday RobbieO???
If you are bring your earplugs as the Yellow Army (our supporters) are in fine voice.
